Joshua D. Cates, Publisher & Founder

Josh has more than 20 years experience in the healthcare and publishing arena. Prior to starting Living Well Magazine, Josh founded and operated Unlimited Care of North Texas, a 24-hour personal home care agency in the Dallas, Texas area. After caring for more than 700 families over 10 years, Josh sold the business to pursue publishing his own healthcare educational magazine and turn his attention to educating those in his local community.

The first edition of Living Well Magazine came off the press in the summer of 2005. Today, Josh will tell you his favorite part of the business is bringing helpful knowledge and great stories to his readers. "There is great responsibility behind the power of the pen," Cates says.  "I wake up more excited than ever to tell that next story to our readers," he says.

Josh and his wife have two daughters and split their time between their home state of Texas and adopted home of Colorado. When he's not publishing, Josh is an avid thrill seeker who enjoys traveling, cycling and skiing.
